The Archive survived the collapse — but its language records didn't. Tiles, scrolls, and letter-fragments lie scattered across the vaults, mixed together, waiting to be sorted. Wera, the keeper of the Archive, remembers what the sentences said. She just can no longer read them herself.

You can.

Hive Rescue: Ambiguity is a language puzzle game for early readers (ages 5–10). Each puzzle gives you a set of word, syllable, or letter tiles and one task: connect them in the right order to restore a sentence from the Archive. The target sentence is read aloud, and you build what you hear.

What you'll do:

  • Connect tiles to form words and sentences
  • Listen to hear what the sentence should sound like — as many times as you need
  • Choose between tiles that sound identical but are spelled differently
  • Read the completed sentence aloud yourself to close the loop

Four areas of the Archive to restore:

  • Spelling — the fine distinctions orthography demands
  • Syllables — breaking words into their building blocks
  • Word order — putting sentences back in their right shape
  • Grammar — making verbs and adjectives agree

For educators and parents: a built-in educator view lets you assign specific levels to a player, track attempts, and see which concepts are sticking and which need more work.
